Harrisville State Park will be offering its annual “Go Get Outdoors” program which is an opportunity for individuals to earn their Hunters Education and International Bow Education Program (IBEP) certificates.  This course offers both classroom and hands on safety on various hunting techniques.  There will be several knowledgeable instructors available to teach and answer questions. Since the beginning of this program at Harrisville State Park, over 900 people have been certified in both the Hunters Education and the International bow program.  Saturday’s class will run from 8 AM to 5 PM and Sunday’s field class will run from 8 AM to 5 PM.  Please make sure to call the park at 989-724-5126 prior to the event as pre-registration is required.  Registrations will be accepted up until noon on September 11th.

Saturday's classroom work will be held at Maria Hall, located next to St. Anne's Catholic Church in Harrisville.  Sunday's field day will be held at the Harrisville State Park.
