The race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. (rain or shine). A light breakfast for the runners will follow along with the awards ceremony.

All proceeds will benefit the Cancer Center at MidMichigan Health System in Alpena, Michigan. This unique event will take place at the Lafarge Presque Isle Quarry. Participants will compete on a course that encompasses the 60 year old mining operation and its serene landscape which is located on the pristine shores of Lake Huron.
